Mastering the 2-Appointment Digital Denture

Discover how to master a digital workflow that delivers a majority of denture cases in two simple appointments. Through this engaging lecture and hands-on workshop, attendees will sharpen their scanning precision and use advanced scanning software to achieve predictable outcomes across the full range of removables, including digital copy and reline cases, immediate dentures for delivery at the time of extractions, and new dentures for the edentulous arch.
Guided hands-on exercises will help participants refine foundational techniques, such as 360-degree extraoral scanning of dentures and occlusal rims, as well as intraoral scans of terminal dentition.. The course will also cover the latest advancements in scanning software, including live scan reviews and digital design previews, and how to use these tools for greater consistency, accuracy, and efficiency. Attendees will also examine the evolution of denture fabrication and current material options, including recent innovations in digital denture manufacturing that enable long-term durability, to round out their understanding of what makes a digital denture workflow successful from scan to final delivery.
By the end of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Apply advanced digital workflows and identify digital case submission requirements for 2-appointment dentures.
- Understand the evolution of materials used in digital denture fabrication, including recent innovations that ensure long-lasting results
- Apply modern scanning techniques to produce a highly predictable outcome for 2-appointment denture cases

The Speakers
Dr. Chrislyn Fite owns a private in practice in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She focuses on advanced implant dentistry and digital workflows, and is passionate about innovation in clinical practice. Dr. Fite also serves as a lecturer and clinical educator, sharing her expertise with peers and emerging dentists.
Kenn Butler is the Head of Research and Development at Dandy, overseeing development of all new digital lab products and processes. Kenn has spent over 1,000 hours visiting and researching hundreds of dental labs across the United States. Kenn has also conducted in-depth analyses of over a dozen intraoral scanners and is well-versed in the digital dentistry landscape. Kenn is passionate about helping doctors embrace technology and make the transition to digital dentistry.
