Time to turn the page.
Why did we take out a full-page ad about dentures? We thought it was important.
1 in 8 Americans have been failed by dentistry.
And it’s not your dentists’ fault.
Medicine mapped the genome. Replaced hips. Put robots in the OR.
But for the 43 millions of Americans who lost their teeth, one of the most basic pieces of healthcare still works remarkably like it did decades ago.
Dentures.
Something people depend on to eat, speak, smile, and feel like themselves.
Patients and dentists were asked to live with unacceptable compromises: 5–8 appointments, too many adjustments, and trade-offs in comfort, appearance, and durability.
We couldn’t live with that.
I (Dan) know what that compromise feels like personally.
I spent six years missing a tooth because my ortho, dentist, and their labs couldn’t get aligned on how to fix it. The tooth was right up front and impossible to hide.
So I smiled less, avoided photos when I could. And for six years, I lived my life feeling incomplete until it was fixed.
That experience stayed with me.
When Toni and I started Dandy, we didn’t set out to build another dental lab. We started asking why so many problems dentists and patients faced had simply become accepted as part of dentistry.
And dentures were one of the clearest examples of how far the industry had fallen behind. So we asked simple question:
What would dentures look like if we started over today?
What if you combined AI, robotics, and advanced manufacturing in U.S. factories instead of accepting the way they've always been made?
That’s Dandy Fusion™ Dentures.
We’re particularly proud of this one because dentures are different from other dental products.
Dentures impact how you show up in the world. How you eat. How you speak. Whether you laugh with your mouth open. Whether you smile in photos. It defines whether you feel comfortable being seen.
It’s a small thing that should have been treated like a big thing all along. And it’s about time someone acted like it.
