About the Role
Dandy is seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of integration solutions across our enterprise systems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the end-to-end integration architecture, leveraging iPaaS platforms like Workato, Mulesoft, or similar tools to connect critical business systems including ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce), HRIS, and custom applications.
You’ll be a key technical leader ensuring our integrations are scalable, secure, and reliable. You’ll partner closely with system owners across Finance, GTM, Product, and People teams to deliver seamless, automated data flows that power operational excellence across Dandy.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, solutions-oriented architect who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about building the connective tissue between best-in-class SaaS platforms.
What You’ll Do
Architect Enterprise-Grade Integrations: Design robust, reusable integration frameworks using iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft) to connect critical systems across the organization.
Deliver End-to-End Solutions: Own the delivery of complex integrations from scoping and requirements gathering through to testing, deployment, and support. Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Establish Integration Standards & Governance: Develop and enforce best practices for integration design, versioning, documentation, exception handling, and monitoring. Define SLAs and security protocols for integration reliability and data protection.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with business systems leads (Finance, GTM, People Ops, etc.), data teams, and engineering to identify integration needs, align on priorities, and deliver high-impact automation initiatives.
Mentor and Guide: Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to internal developers or external partners working on integration projects. Review design decisions and provide guidance on scalability and performance.
Build for Scale: Ensure our integrations are built with long-term scale in mind, minimizing technical debt and maximizing modularity and reusability.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate new tools, frameworks, and patterns to improve integration speed, resiliency, and developer experience.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience designing and implementing system integrations, with deep hands-on experience with iPaaS tools like Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, or Celigo.
System Architecture Skills: Strong understanding of API design (REST/SOAP), event-driven architecture, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and data transformation best practices.
Experience integrating with platforms like NetSuite, Salesforce, Ashby, Zendesk, and other common SaaS applications.
Ability to balance architecture with roll-up-your-sleeves development and troubleshooting of integration issues.
Experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex integration projects, including requirements, timelines, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Understanding of secure data practices, PII handling, and compliance considerations (e.g., SOC2, GDPR) as they relate to system integrations.
Skilled at breaking down complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders and aligning teams on the "why" behind the architecture.
Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with changing priorities and tight feedback loops.
Bonus Points For
Experience with middleware architecture, data orchestration platforms, or event streaming (e.g., Kafka).
iPaas tool certification.
Experience building automated observability/monitoring for integration health.
Exposure to data warehousing tools (e.g., BigQuery) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience working in product-led or manufacturing companies.
